There’s something so special about bridal sessions that feel relaxed and full of genuine moments, and Taylor’s session in Crowley was exactly that.

Taylor arrived in the most beautiful lace wedding dress, filled with delicate detail that photographed so effortlessly. The setting for the afternoon was a classic Southern-style home with a wraparound porch, which created the perfect timeless backdrop for her bridals. Between the soft light and the charm of the home, every corner gave us something beautiful to work with.

What made this session even more special was that Taylor brought along her little daughter. While we moved through the session and captured different portraits, her daughter played nearby, occasionally stopping to watch her mom in her pretty white dress. Every now and then I would glance over and see her just staring at Taylor with the sweetest expression. Those little in-between moments were so genuine, and I was lucky enough to capture a few of them.

The entire session felt laid back and natural. Taylor did such a wonderful job trusting my direction and flowing through each pose I suggested. My goal during every session is to make my clients feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera, and Taylor made that easy.

Sessions like this remind me why I love photographing bridals so much. It’s not just about the dress or the portraits—it’s about the quiet, meaningful moments that happen in between.
